Spring is here!
Thanks to all who joined us opening night of another successful U8 event. It was a fun evening, with a wide assortment of artwork from many guest artists. This annual show drew artists from around North America, and featured many emerging local artists.
Thanks to all the artists who submitted their artwork and an especially big hug to Karla who helped pull the U 8 show together!
IN THE GALLERY …
Cory Fuhr will be featured in Descant magazine, coming out soon, its issue no. 136 we are told. The new movie, ‘The last Mimzy’ should be in theatres now as well; look for his ‘standing man’ in the doctor’s office. He’ll be permanently in another doctor’s office soon, in Centuria Place once it’s complete.

Phil Darrah is now working on paintings for his next show. For those who missed our ‘songs of love’, you can see some of the works if you check out our EXHIBITION page, and click on the title of that show. Catalogues will be available on request.
COMING UP NEXT MONTH
Jordi Alfaro and Siobhan Humston are having a joint showing titled ‘Stem & Sentinel’. This pairing of highly organic ceramic sculpture and acrylic, graphite paintings will transform the gallery beautifully, with these earthly abstractions.
A work of art is a world in itself reflecting senses and emotions of the artist's world.
