Welcome to another edition of the Sopa newsletter. With an early spring expected, we are gearing up nicely for the warmer weather with our current show, ‘Songs of Love’ in the gallery.

At the outset of this body of work I had thought and tentatively mentally filed them as Earth pictures, but that seems not to be the case anymore. Perhaps ‘Songs of Love’ would be best.” Phil Darrah

COMING UP NEXT MONTH

It’s back!!!

April showcases many new artists this month in our 2 nd annual U8 Event. This show features select artwork from over 50 artists, all original, all under $800. It’s shaping up to be another great opportunity to buy artwork at this affordable price; with a wide selection and diverse mediums. Talented artists from all over North America as well as many local artists will be showcased.

So mark your calendars for April 5 th from 7-9 pm for our opening night preview of this exciting new show. Feel free to bring along a guest that might also enjoy this opportunity.

Thank you to all who attended our opening show for Phil, we were happy he and his wife Isla arrived safe and sound after a delay with their flight. If you haven’t seen this show yet, it’s well worth stopping by when you have a moment.

We have had lots of new artwork arrive for spring as well, and our back room keeps getting more and more organized to accommodate it. Boyd has done a great job on the shelves and we can now safely display some of our newest sculpture.

Montreal artist, Jordi Alfaro’s sculpture has started to arrive in preparation for our new show in May. …stop by for a sneak peak if you get a chance!
